Unspoken: The Lynburn Legacy

Unspoken - Sarah Rees Brennan The book honestly deserves 4 stars, but 3 days later and I'm still annoyed by that miserable cliffhanger. It's like, here I am, reading this book, enjoying it, getting to the end, ready for the conclusion... and not getting it. It's profoundly dissatisfying. And especially disappointing in this case, since the first two books of the Demon trilogy both had such really EXCELLENT endings, powerful and emotionally satisfying, and still provided a good set up for their sequels, so I know SRB's capable of a much better conclusion than she's written here.

The POV switching was also awkwardly done, since it was so uneven. Kami's POV predominated so heavily that on the few occasions it switched to Jared it felt jarring.
